Rebelot Events & Communication, in collaboration with Zetalab, presents the seventh edition of SosDesign.

SosDesign, created by Biba Acquati and Massimo Randone, since 2002 is the first charity event in the world of design. The beneficiaries during these years were:Emergency, Comunità Nuova di don Gino Rigoldi, Ass. Veronca Sacchi, Casa Oz.

The 2010 edition raises funds for the infectivology unit of Ospedale Sacco Milan (HIV/AIDS) and aims to finance a Counselor Philosopher who will work in the hospital, he will substain patients receiveng the first diagnosis of being HIV positive. The show is based on a simple idea: factories and designer belonging to the design system donate the objects which are sold for a “nice price”. All the income coming from the sale will finance the project.

I am design positive is the 2010 campaign.

Being designpositive means thinking to design as a positive cultural resource, acting and designing, but also thinking to the new frontiers of medical research which brings actual hiv patients to long-surviving outlook.

I am design positive aims to bring attention strongly but peacefully, involving all the players of the world of design and communication. This edition will also show an original art-work by Gianpiero Gasparini, exclusively made for the show.

A special section of the show is designed by the students of Istituto Europeo di Design and of Politecnico di Milano. During the show will be sold the book DesignPositivePhotography, a selection of the best pictures of the photographic contests managed by MediaContents.net

A photogallery of famous and young designers -exclusively made for the show- will be set-up by Marco Bressan.  The project has the patronage of ADI Lombardia, the media partnership with INTERNI magazine, in collaboration with Assessorato alla Salute of Regione Lombardia.
